Welcome to McNitt Growers!

We can meet all your spring and fall planting needs! We specialize in growing premium, quality, spring bedding plant crops, as well as fall strawberry plug plants.

We consist of 1.25 acres of greenhouse space. We grow some of the finest bedding plants in the area for both wholesale and retail. Our first plants with be available April 1st and have them until Mother’s Day. Selection is best early so shop early. We begin selling Strawberry plugs in June and have the first ones ready to ship the last part of August.

Hello, Southern Illinois. We’ve been listening.

Last season and all year long, we asked what you wanted to see in the greenhouse... and we took notes. We’re happy to share that this spring we’ll have trailing hydrangeas AND trailing petunias, a high-demand favorite from what we’ve been hearing around town.
