Welcome to McNitt Growers!
We can meet all your spring and fall planting needs! We specialize in growing premium, quality, spring bedding plant crops, as well as fall strawberry plug plants.
We consist of 1.25 acres of greenhouse space. We grow some of the finest bedding plants in the area for both wholesale and retail. Our first plants with be available April 1st and have them until Motherβs Day. Selection is best early so shop early. We begin selling Strawberry plugs in June and have the first ones ready to ship the last part of August.

Our 2023 spring season officially came to an end today. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported us this year. Our business would not exist if local business and retail customers did not choose to work with us. For that we are grateful. As crazy as this sounds, planing is already taking place for the 2024 season. Once again we share a big thank you. We look forward to working with everyone next spring.

We appreciate Murphysboro Mainstreet Inc for supporting several local businesses in the area to beautify the downtown area of Murphysboro. The investment of time and effort makes a huge difference in the revitalization of the downtown area. Keep up the great work it does not go unnoticed.
